Xenia, Ohio. Sunday, June 22nd. The first half was very even with the Eagles matching shots on net with the Galaxies. It wasn’t until the 56th minute of the game, during the second half, when Casey Whitfield scored the first goal. Thirteen minutes later, Jordan Foster caused the Eagles to give up an own goal for a 2-0 final favoring the Galaxies.
On Friday, June 20th, the Galaxies lost a tough match to Motor City FC from Detroit, Michigan. The Galaxy girls held them off with tough defensive play in the first half. The Motor City women were well organized and let the goals flow, scoring 3 in the second half for a 3-0 win for the Motor City FC team.
The Ohio Galaxies women play this Saturday, June 28th, against the Cincinnati Lady Saints. The game will be played at Stargel Stadium, in Cincinnati at 5:00 pm.
